Privilege News August 2015

Dear Members,

Sawasdee kha and Happy Mother’s Day!

You may be wondering why we are greeting you Happy Mother’s day in August. But we do have a very good reason. Members familiar with Thailand will know that Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday anniversary falls on August 12th and on this day the whole country celebrates this auspicious occasion. Because of Her Majesty’s unwavering benevolence towards the needy and poor throughout the nation she is regarded as the mother to all Thai people. The Queen has captured the hearts of the nation through her devotion towards the welfare and the well being of everyone in the Kingdom. Throughout the country children express their love to their own mothers by presenting a beautiful handmade garland of sweet smelling jasmine flowers to thank her for her unconditional love.

In this newsletter we would like to let you know some information on how the Thai people celebrate Mother’s Day and about a fantastic concert in the Royal resort town of Hua Hin. We will also introduce you to an exceptional arts and crafts center established by HM the Queen and a place where you can see Her personal collection of exquisite Thai silk dresses. And we wrap it all up by telling you about two of our partners who offer special services that feature items mentioned within this newsletter. Enjoy!
